Presidents Message……

As the returning Regional President, I’d like to thank you all for your support over the past year. Tri County Escrow Association is ready for a new year, how about you?  2008 has potential to bring about some great new changes.  This is a year for new educational material to help shift the focus to meet new industry trends and conditions. 

In the first few months of this year we are already working hard to bring you the education that will prove to help you grow in the ever changing Real Estate market.  Strengthening our knowledge and learning to adapt to the market will help guarantee us all continued success as Escrow Professionals.  We have Gov Hutchinson, lead counsel for the California Association of Realtors speaking on changes to the CAR contract and any newly issued forms, the Franchise Tax Board will join us for updates as well in February and stay tuned for Reverse Mortgages from an escrow standpoint with David Shean in March.  These are just a few of the great topics we will cover.  I take great pride in providing a relaxed but informative environment for us all to join together, learn and laugh.

If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, please do so by January 31, 2008.  CEA has graciously extended the on time renewal date.  Your membership helps create the voice of every escrow professional alike. Your membership really does make a difference! Now is the time to come together and support each other through one of the toughest markets in Real Estate history.  The market is turning around and these tough times shall pass. 

I am once again honored to be in service to so many wonderfully talented professionals and look forward to another great year together.

I don’t know about you but I’m determined to see what else I can learn to be ahead of the trends and corner any niche that I can.  I hope you’ll continue to join us so we can support you through it all.

May your first quarter prove to you that all changes are good and necessary for healthy growth.
